6 problems to solve: 3 bronze, 2 silver, 1 gold. You have 90 minutes and 2 chances for the whole attempt: every wrong submission uses one. There is no Run button, only Submit. Play the Weekly Run, a map everyone shares that you can retry all week, or start a New Run on a random map of your own whenever you like.
Trail Blazing helps break your reliance on the Run button. In a real interview you can't spam Run with print statements. You have to debug with your own eyes.
Weekly Run
Everyone plays the same map this week, and you can retry it as often as you like.
Everyone plays the same map, and can retry it as often as they like. A new map and a fresh board come out every Tuesday at 00:00 UTC.
Who's on it
Every finished attempt gets its own row, so a player can appear more than once.
How it ranks
Problems solved, then attempt number (earlier first: later attempts have seen more of the map), then wrong submissions, then time from start to last solve.
The full leaderboard also covers the last 30 days, the last year and all time.
You get 2 chances for the whole attempt. Each wrong submission uses one; the last one ends the attempt.
Weekly Run: everyone plays the same map, and a new one comes out every Tuesday at 00:00 UTC. Try it as often as you like.
On the weekly map, Problem 1 is drawn fresh on every attempt. From Problem 2 on, the options are the same all week, and any you have opened stay revealed.
Every finished Weekly Run goes on the week's leaderboard, ranked by problems solved, then attempt number, then wrong submissions, then time. It can also show each player's first attempt only.
New Run: a random map just for you, whenever you like. Each map gets one try and can't be replayed.
The New Run leaderboard shows each player's best New Run over the last 7 days, 30 days, year or all time, ranked by problems solved, then wrong submissions, then time.
New Runs earn the Trail Blaze bonus XP too, up to 365 XP a day.
