- Company stock granted as pay, delivered in portions over a vesting schedule, typically four years.

- A policy requiring remote or hybrid staff to come back to the office for a set number of days.
- Rubber ducking
- Explaining code line by line, to a person or an object, until the bug becomes obvious.
- Rubric
- The written criteria a company scores each round against, usually covering problem solving, coding, communication and testing.
